This release is Region Free. AVC Encode with Japanese TrueHD 5.1 (only audio track on the disc). Subtitles are standard white font and are forced. Movie is on a BD25. I'll compare this release to the US version when it comes out. The movie itself was pretty good overall. Weak start but picked up as the movie progressed. My rating for it would be 3.75/5.

PQ: 4/5
Very nice overall image. I did not notice any EE or DNR (if there is any DNR it was minor at best). There were a few isolated incidents of some blocking and some weak PQ (compared to the rest of the film). A fine layer of grain that showed more in landscape shots. Colors were excellent and detail was strong.
AQ: 5/5
I figured this release would have a nice track but the audio exceeded my expectations. My sub got one heck of a workout at times. It was ground shaking. My house literally shook during one particular scene towards the end. The music was clear and dialog came through clearly. For reference, my volume was set at -16 until the latter part of the movie where I had to lower it to -24.
