3-D Holographic TV? - Blu-ray Forum

Do you think we will get a mixture of an HD 3-D / Holographic TV in our lifetimes? I'm thinking of something simular to the technology as shown in the movie Minority Report when Cruise is at home watching home recorded disks of his wife and child, or in I Robot.

Ever wonder why the 3-D communicators in Star Wars are so glitchy? And why they aren't even in color.

Some guy I work with was just telling me a story about one he supposedly saw in China.

He finished it up with "It was a super secret thing that we were sworn not to talk about."

I....um....yeah...I didn't really believe him.

So sad.

I guess it would be neat though.

i think by 2060 we will have something like this in our living rooms.

just look how fast tech has excellerated over the past 20 years and then mulitply it by 3.

and yes that video is a real hologram, its not a special effect.
