Somewhere in the Indian Ocean, present day: Trouble is bruing with the dudes in black jets. After a hotshot pilot and a the #1 pilot on the ship confront the black jets, the hotshot leaves his wingman causing the #1 to wet his pants and quit. That pushes the hotshot into a spot at the super school called TOP GUN (currently is Sh*thole Fallon, Nv but they go to present day MCAS Miramar for some reason).

After the tragic death of computer nerd turned ER doctor turned Fighter RIO, the hotshot must man up and go win the war with the black jets in the Indian Ocean using every skill he has learned (ie dont leave your wing-man)

After putting the lesson (dont leave your wing-man) to the test, he is welcomed as a hero and chooses to teach other young, brash, hotshots to also not leave their wing-men.

His name?

MAVERICK (Like McCain)
