They are stupid indeed...since this is done so often (not that I'm complaining, I love those types...just would be a nice change). It makes me want to make a film where men want revenge against women.

You should. and the name of the group of women is P.M.S. But it actually stands for something, I know a dumb joke. But you can't make a movie where women get theirs cause it's not right. I guess that's one of the faults of being a man.

Based off a quick google search for "Movies with female antagonists" I found these:

And all those were just on page 1. Nobody is going to bat an eye if the villain is female. Now if the antagonist is the antagonist because she is female, then you could get upset (as you probably should).

I don't watch trailers if I can avoid it, but based just off the tag line of "Two bartenders get their revenge against men who have mistreated them." We know the girls don't hate the men because they are men, they go after them because they have been mistreated. The plot (hopefully) probably has less to do with gender than the movie title suggests.

No, I meant just a movie where one or two guys go around killing women. Seeming almost sees what this movie is about. Just killing guys that did stuff to them. Surely something like rape or whatever is good enough reason to kill the men and a excuse to do so.

Isn't that the premise of every horror movie? An empowered male figure kills of young teenage girls (and some men) for no reason at all.

Yeah, I meant a film about a man who gets revenge against specific women for some reason...he'll never be a sympathetic hero in that case. When he's not empowered, when he's the victim of something they've done to him.

I guess they make the "Men" "The Bad Guy" Cause it seems more "realistic" that a guy would beat or rape a woman. Over a woman doing that to a man.

There was this one trailer I saw infront of the Collection a bit ago. It had three women on a lonely island who thought they were alone. Then three men come along and do bad stuff to them. So they need to survive and probably kill the three men.

It's like GIRL POWER! Kill anything with a Penis! You can't make women the bad person in all of this. Cause in the end they would say well he probably deserved what he had coming to him. So you go Girlfriend! That's where she snaps her fingers in a sassy way.

I agree. If the film was Boys Against Girls, sexism would be yelled at the highest order. If we had to root for boys killing girls everyone would be booing and calling it immoral. But girls killing boys, well that's fine, those women deserve their own back against those naughty men, plus, women can't kill in real life because they're just women.

And the whole slasher mentality of Big Men in Masks killing nude women, well they usually explain in a way that people will understand "oh he's inbred","oh he's mentally ill","oh he's a dream pedophile".

If there was a reverse "I Spit On Your Grave" situation it be wrong if a guy got raped and beaten by a bunch of women. I'm sure some women and guys, mainly guys would be like it's your own fault for getting beat up by women you sissy. or who complains about a group of women raping them? You know stupid stuff guys say. Probably why it never happens, cause that wouldn't happen in real life according to some people. So it's easier for a man to do something and then be tortured and killed by said woman.

I don't think mainstream Hollywood would be comfortable with that idea. I'm sure some indie film has covered it, I would be very interested to see it though.
