I googled it and said he's worth $80 million. But those numbers could be higher.

M Night will either make one of my favorite films of the year, or he'll make something so bad I'll watch it year later anyways just to laugh like The Happening. So it's really a win either way for me.

It's not even out of the ordinary for a filmmaker to start work on his next film so "soon". It's not like he just finished shooting Old. No one says Bong Joon Ho needs the money when you heard of him starting work on his next movie (actually his next two) so soon after Parasite.

Not to knock M. Night, but if you want to see fast filmmakers look at Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s pace. For a filmmaker still alive and working, Soderbergh is fast.

For better or worse I will see every M Night film. Sometimes they’re great sometimes they’re horrible. He is imo the biggest hit and miss director working right now.

Part of the fun for me, I go into every film blind and I do the same with disc purchases. Stopped watching trailers as they give away too much.

So do you think he doesn't spend his money? he has three kids and a wife and funds his own movies. How do you think he keeps that coming in? It's not like his "revival" since The Visit have provided anything other than cheap crowdpleasers.
