Does anybody make multiple PSN accounts for different countries? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey, I was talking to one of my online friends the other day and we started talking about the Playstation Store. He told me that Rag Doll Kung Fu was actually for free for a while on the US store, but i know it wasn't on the Canadian one.

He then suggested to me that i should just make different accounts to access the different stores and playstation home (he had a Chinese account). I'm just wondering if anybody else has done this, if it was indeed worthwhile and how you handled the zip codes, etc.

I made one for the Killzone 2 demo (it came out in the EU a week before NA) but i havent really used it since. I dont really remember what I did for the address, just look something up online or make one up

I have one for Japan and the UK, as well as my primary US account.

There's a site somewhere (can't recall) where it explains how you go about setting it up. Depending on what area you want, just google a type of store in that country and you'll find something.

like I googled candy store London England and it came back with a couple specific stores and their addresses.

That's what I used.

I had a EU one and a Japanese one (but could never read the menus so I deleted that one).

Never really bothered with them, but the EU had some cool game videos of Heavenly Sword. An Anime-prequel type deal split up in five parts.

Ya, I have an American and Japanese side account. It's useful for some free stuff and demos. I got the Rag-doll Kung-Fu game from the US one and RGG3 demo from the Japanese one. Might get that Tales of Vesperia demo too.

I've got four accounts:
- US (main account, the one I use for gaming)
- UK
- German
- Slovenian (local)

I've also been thinking about creating a Japanese account.

created the US one specifically to get that free rag doll kung fu download you heard about.

I created a US account just to get Rag Doll Kung Fu for free. There are also demos and videos on the US store which I can't get on the UK store, so I just check both each week to see what's available.

Got my native NA one, an European/UK one, and a Japanese account. Primarily to see/get the free demos/videos in each territory and to check out the differences between the Home setups in each one.
