Alright as I have stated in the other thread I am finished reading all the articles of speakers on this fourm and went to Bestbuy, listened to a few speakers that were of different brands and I finally chose Klipsch and now I've got a few questions.

Questions Relating To Speakers And Bestbuy

1.Are Floorstanding speakers sourround sound speakers too?

On the Klipsch website they have two sections one's called floor standing speakers and the other surround sound speakers what's the difference between these two speaker types ???

2.I'm looking at the floor standing speakers section on the best buy website at Klipsch speakers and some are amplified floor standing speakers what does that mean I have no clue?

3.I thought surround sound speakers are supposed to be tall like floor standing speakers but on bestbuy I'm looking at klipsch speakers and all they have is short square ones and curved ones is this normal for surround sound speakers?
