I just saw the news on TVshowsondvd.com that the long-awaited (and thought abandoned) 2nd season of Barney Miller is coming out Jan. 22, 2008.

I just hope they don't pull a "Fox" and abandon it before they finish all the seasons.

That and Sanford and Son are two of my favorite "old" TV series.

You do realize there are a very small number of us on this forum old enough to have watched Barney Miller as adults? I did enjoy the show and was pleased to see Ron Glass resurface in Firefly.
