Default Mits HC1500 and HC1600

Hey everyone. I've seen how well this community has helped out its members so i'd like to ask for some help. I'm about to upgrade to a new projector and I need a little help. My budget is about $700 and I'm looking for a 720p projector. I have found 2 that I am mainly interested in the Mitsubishi HC1500 and HC1600. Unfortunately the HC1500 has been discontinued and now cost more. I really wanted the 1500 more than the 1600 because according to the specs the 1500 has a 4x speed color wheel which is faster than the 1600 color wheel speed of 2x and that brings down the probability of the rainbow effect. I've never owned a DLP projector so i've never seen the screen door effect and dont know if I even can see it, but i'd like to be on the safe side so that is why I'd prefer the 1500. My last projector was a standard def. Epson LCD so i'm really looking forward to upgrading. I just wanted to ask if anyone has seen an HC1500 in online or in stores(preferably) for under $700 recently? I know Best Buy had a sale on the HC1500 about a year ago for $599 and it sucks that i didnt know about it haha, so it'd be great to hear about an offer like that. Any other recommendations in that price range would also be greatly appreciated. And I'd also like to hear from any owners of the HC1600 and know what their experience with the projector has been like. I will mainly be using the projector to watch blu-rays and play games on my PS3. Thanks
