I didn't say it was crap, but I don't think it was good either, The special effects were exceptional, the script is what was crap, followed closely
by the director....

Though I know my opinion is in the minority on this site

I agree with that statement completely, but the thread is announcing the release date. The thread is for people who care about the release date... It would be like going onto the polk thread and saying "I wouldn't waste my money"... why waste the time making that type of post??
