Default Resistance 3

What would you like?

I want the 2 player story mode to return but still keep the 2 player multiplayer and co-op. Anybody got a plot for R3, I was thinking of two campigans? One where you play as Nathan Hale (The bad side) and one where you play as someone from the good side (Not capelli as he was very boring and trying to be like Nathan Hale). Maybe increase the 60 player online to 80 players. Definatly more maps for multiplayer and of course more weapons.

R3 FTW

I think 80 players is pushing it... I already get stressed from 60 players haha.. I think they should just take their time time to release a game as good as the first two, which I really like! In the meantime I still need to buy/complete Killzone 2, Motorstorm 2, and so on.. Still plenty to do - but ofcourse I am looking forward to the third game!

As long as they take their time because the 2nd game had fairly bugged audio at times, they don't need larger maps that hold 80 people etc, i prefer the 1st game for multiplayer and the aiming system was better on the 1st game, the game is at least 2-3 years away.

I think that 80 players are kind of insane for me, heh. However, that would be kick-ass!

Whereas MAG has 256 players online, I think there would be a lot of intense action, and perhaps a lag-fest. Oh, well. I hope Zipper really kept their word about no lag in Mag.

I agree... at the same time, I wanna play one level as a Chimeria. I kinda thought thats where the game was going even in the first one.

Oh and a Final Boss that can actually hit you

I couldn't agree more. I like all the additional multiplayer and stuff, but the story in the single player was lacking in R2. If they managed to create an amazing story (like in R:FoM) and keep the great multiplayer components, I'd be happy.

I loved Resistance 2 and would easily get a 9/10 (higher grade if not so short) and I would give the first one the same grade. The 2nd one was better and had a lot more depth

BUT...

it didnt provide me with the same experience that the first one provided me. Getting rid of the narrator might have been a big part.

It seems like Insomniac made the same "mistake" with R2 that Bungie with Halo 2. In that the first game in the series was relatively straight forward and a simple plot, but in the 2nd game in the series they try to dramatically expand the scope of the story, add a lot of subplots and plot twists that in my opinion just aren't necessary.

they need to bring back 2p coop for the main story mode.

they pissed off a lot of people (myself included) by removing it in R2. Otherwise R2 was a great game.

Hopefully they bring back rachel parker's narrating, and have a new radio dude because that part was really cool too.

Enough is enough. Save the third game for the PS4. Insomniac needs to work on other franchises for that next-gen treatment.

Screw Resistance 3. From what I have heard they are working on a RPG.

I don't know if its just me, but I found both games to be boring. I beat the first one and traded it in, and I am at the big house with the water all around in R2 with no desire to finish the game. I really don't know why a game with so much action just left me feeling so unsatisfied. Don't get me wrong it looked good and played good but my overall feeling was "MEH". They need to work on more Rachet and Clank, or a new IP.
