Default Lord of the Rings Extended Editions due NEXT YEAR!
In an interview with Collider, Peter Jackson has announced that the LOTR Extended Editions would be coming out NEXT YEAR, not alongside the Hobbit in 2011 (or whatever year, as the film hasn't even been green-lighted yet). Not only that, but the studio is talking to him about doing new special features just for the blus

**just a word to the wise....this is not an official studio confirmation....this is peter jackson going on the record and saying the extended editions are due in 2010 (now maybe 2011?). this is definitely good news, but keep in mind for those of you immediately going out to sell your EE dvds...nothing has been made official yet and there is always a chance of the set being delayed.
