Default LCD LED TV's

What has been your experience with these TV's? I'm reading a lot of cool stuff about them, better color, true black, less motion blur on sports / action, etc. I saw one at Best Buy on display and they look pretty damn nice

I am looking to get a bigger TV from my Sony 46inch Bravia KDL-46Z4100/B, but damn, that Bravia is one nice TV.

I can tell you that I just bought and returned the next day the Samsung un55b8000. Good TV but I couldn't get around the darker corners. Whenever there is a bright scene, i.e. outdoors, that consumes the entire 16x9 screen, the corners are all noticeably darker. Further, and I don't know if this can be turned off, but the Soap Opera Effect was, to me, extreme on this set.

Bear in mind that this set is an edge-lit LED and the newer 9 series full-back panel lit LED should correct this problem as well as give you selective-lighting capabilities.

For now, I am on the hunt for a good deal on a panasonic 58" V10.

Default Ln55a950

I have the LN55A950 Samsung and it has very even backlighting with great contrast. It and the Sony KDL-55XBR8 are the two best LCD's I have viewed but the Samsung can be bought considerably cheaper than the Sony. I think the plasmas still have the edge but don't work in my high altitude environment.

Hello,

i have a un46b6000 and i have no complains. Great TV in my opinion. If you get it calibrated properly the images on this TV are really really good. I do wish that these were full panel lid like the 9000, but at the discounted price i grabbed this one for i can't complain and paid no taxes!
