It's finally happening.

Been waiting a long time for this and almost gave up hope after that travesty of last year but still hoped they'd do this and they are going to now. Yesss. Hopefully the script is good and it could be the best out of the 3.

This is surprising news. I'm happy because Ahnold is Conan for me, but man this is way late...

If this ends up as another CGI monstrosity, I'll pass. Part of the charm of the original were the sets and traditional SFX.

The orignal was in 1982, if they make the new one it's going to be 2014 or so, don't bother cause it will be CGI.

Exactly they only did back then what they could. Cause they couldn't do what they can do today then.

They can at least do partial animatronics/puppets like they did with The Thing 2011, just don't paint over everything!

I don't mind CGI when it's needed, but I don't want this to end up like the Star Wars prequels where almost everything was fake-looking CGI. Jurassic Park still looks great to this day because they blended traditional SFX with CGI. More filmmakers need to take the Jurassic Park approach.

All CGI is a monstrosity.....

But besides that....has anyone actually seen Ahnald lately? I cringed when I saw him in The Expendables.

I'm guessing they will be using the CGI Arnold from Terminator Salvation.

Lets just hope Arnold avoids Michael Bay at all costs. That's my worst nightmare, Arnold in a transformers movie.
