What FPS games support KB+M on PS3? - Blu-ray Forum

hi all, im a new ps3 user and my question is: can i use a keyboard and mouse to play call of duty or any other game for that matter, instead of the controller? cuz im better aiming/shooting with the mouse/keyboard than the controller.....thanks

nope, Unreal Tournament 3 is one of the only ones you can use Keyboard and Mouse

PS3 allows keyboard/mouse for games as long as the developer puts it in. So far the only game I know of that supports it is Unreal Tournament.

ALL FPS games should allow it. I don't understand why they don't. If they did all my game purchases would be for the PS3 only.

It would be nice for sure. I don't care because I hate using kb/mouse for gaming (other than Starcraft) but it seems like it'd be an easy feature to incorporate.

I've never seen how people can play FPSs with a mouse and keyboard, I always have to have a controller. I would like to have the ability to use a mouse and keyboard to play strat games on a console through like command and conquer and what not.

well, i need a controller for sport/racing games...but for fps i have to have a mouse at least...keyboard could be replaced with a joystick for moving the person....but defintely a mouse for aiming, your reflexes are so much faster than with a joystick(or w.e thats called)....thanks

I guess it's how old school you are. I was playing Quake and Quake II when they first hit the PC so a mouse and keyboard were natural.

Plus, in CS it's the only way to bunnyhop!

Because the problem is, is that would mean that the guy with the keyboard and mouse would have an advantage over whoever is playing with the controllers. I think if theres any games that allow cross compatable play with PC users, the games should allow you to use a keuborad and mouse.
