I have no luck with pre-orders. I'll always get mine like 3 or 4 days late, or even a few weeks. I don't understand the point of pre-ordering. I've tried from Amazon, WBshop, deepdiscount, tower, etc. My King Kong pre-order from Tower earlier this year took 29 days to get to my house, and after 38 days they hadn't even shipped The Notebook, so I canceled it. Are their any sites that actually get their pre-orders to the customers on time?

dvd pacific stopped. I was buying from them for over a year becuase they would send titles sometimes to 2 weeks early. About a year ago they started shipping on the release date. They must have gotten in trouble. It was pretty well known on the boards.

Oh, okay. It has been over a year since I ordered from there. I remember receiving the Spider-Man Trilogy 2 weeks before street date.

DVD Pacific still ships early, BUT I believe only for retailers, like mine in Sydney, Australia. Hence, how I got "State of Play" and "The Soloist" last week.
![]() The downside is I'm paying U.S. retail price converted to Australian Dollars, plus shipping costs. I don't mind though. I stopped having to use credit card three years ago. So now I pay cash. |
