What Is The Best Basketball Movie Of Alltime?? - Blu-ray Forum

Ok lets switch it up a bit! Instead of an actors best movie, lets try a sports theme! What do u think is the best basketball movie! Again same rules apply! Vote for the best movie, and please reply with your fav movie and least/worst as well. My list would go:

Best: Tie Between: "Hoosiers" & "Rebound: The Legend of Earl "The Goat" Manigault"

Favorite: "White Men Cant Jump"

Least: "Semi Pro"

I've never been a big fan of basketball movies. I guess Hoosiers would be my favorite, although if Teen Wolf counts that'd be a close second.

Least favorite would probably be Rebound. I turned that off after 10 minutes. Just horrible.

Yea although Martin is my guy, that may be his worst movie and i know he did it for the kids but still!! However the other "Rebound" movie is excellent starring Don Cheadle!!

also.... best and favorite... whats the difference? this is different than the acting roles... like, favorite film versus best acting by ....

Well thats actually up to u. For example an actor may have an outstanding film thats just a great movie, but u may enjoy watching a different movie of his more! maybe more enetertaining or maybe more replay value! Also your best & fav could also be the same. it just depends. I mean easily I will watch White Men Cant Jump before any of those but it isnt the best actual "basketball" based movie! Hoosiers is a better story but White Men Cant Jump I would rather watch anyday!! Get my drift!?

ha yea i know wut u mean... and agree...just contradictory... like... im sure this is coming next but... football.. so, Rudy would be the best.... but The Prgram is favorite?? idk how ur best and favorite wouldnt be the same for like sport genres.... what makes it the best? cuz its actually focused on how the sport is etc? cuz for me its all about entertainment....

either way... i know what u mean... ha... just rambling at this point

Yea pretty much its personal preference really! Like another example is Malcolm X is a better movie than Out Of Time but I would rather watch out of time! More replay value and more entertaining but obviously Malcolm X is a more well written and put together film about an important man! But again its all up to what u feel or like!
