I don’t like any of those three guys or Matt Groening. Mike Judge is more talented than Matt Groening, Seth MacFarlane, Trey Parker and Matt Stone combined if you overlook Beavis and Butthead.

Other than Beavis and Butthead (which I’m embarrassed about ever liking), everything Mike Judge has done has been awesome. The other four guys, not so much. Family Guy, South Park and especially The Simpsons have way overstayed their welcome (and will continue to do so for at least a few more years, unfortunately

).

I feel like this type of film has already had so many imitations, everything from Monster's University, The House Bunny, one of those Van Wilder films, etc. that there probably isn't much to add with another one.

Besides, Hollywood's version of college in these types of films always seem to be made by someone who never actually went to one and only base their knowledge from other films or shows.

I heard about this.

Unfortunately there is no way this is going to be as raunchy as the original. It may have some fart jokes, but no where near as funny as the original....besides who wants to see a horny mofo named Booger these days?

There was also an attempt to turn Revenge Of The Nerds into a TV series with a 1991 pilot that wasn't picked up. R-rated teen comedies were still in vogue during the mid-2000s thanks to the success of the American Pie franchise, so a remake of Revenge Of The Nerds was put together in 2006. Kyle Newman was hired to direct, while Adam Brody (Shazam!), Katie Cassidy, Jenna Dewan, and Chris Marquette were hired to star.

The Revenge Of The Nerds remake started shooting in October 2006 but quickly ran into problems when the production was set to film at Georgia's Emory University. Officials declined to become involved after reading the script, which forced the production to move to a smaller campus instead. Fox Atomic ultimately decided to scrap the project due to the production issues and the fact it wasn't shaping up well after the first two weeks of dailies were reviewed.

Not this again. Remake or not the original is a classic and it’s very existence probably irritates some of the "easily offended" so that there is worth something.

. Relax....it’s just a movie.

Like so many other films, it’s a product of its time and worked well during that time. But it’s not really a 2020 "thing" due to the world we live in now. Just forget it. Go watch the original like I do since it’s funny and awesome.
