Ahhh.....we are inching closer and closer to the release of Beauty and the Beast. It'll be a year, yet, but it's nice to see a glimpse of light at the end of the tunnel!

Dumbo and Beauty were both on Snow White but this is showing positive signs that Beauty and the Beast will be an early release. Why market a title that'll come out later in the year? It doesn't make sense from a business and marketing standpoint. For those that don't really follow along with these news stories, these trailers are their source of what's coming out. Now they know Beauty and the Beast is coming out soon and they're excited about it, but then Fantasia comes out with barely any marketing in the middle of the release and it would just confuse consumers and like I mentioned in another thread, why rush a release of 2 movies at the same time (Fantasia and 2000). It seems like there is more to format while Beauty and Beast looks restored and beautiful. It seems BB is ready to be released.

Never mind their restorations or Platinum-roster scheduling, these two are going to be Siamese twins wherever they go....Which makes sense, seeing as how most of the F2K hosts spend most of their time talking about F'40.

And FTR, the "sudden rescheduled" Fantasia (hey, we didn't expect we'd get the Dumbo park either!) is mentioned on the back of the Snow White brochure, so looks like it's still on for May--
Only the Dumbo trailers know for sure, but they were married to the BB trailer from early on.

I've been biting my fingers ever since I first heard about it.

I put on my 2 disc special edition DVD and thought, this picture sucks, I want blu ray. ARGH I HATE WAITING!!!! I'm sure it will look totally gorgeous though. I'm sooo happy that Disney puts so much time and effort into their blu rays. I saw Beauty and the Beast 26 times in the theater, it's been my favorite movie ever since.

I just hope that Dumbo has the Disney art bars that have been included in Pinocchio and Snow White since it is also a 3x4 format movie.

A long year it will be as well. I haven't seen the movie now since my Laserdic player died on me back in 2000, I cannot wait to see it on BD
