If I were to buy a mount off eBay will it be any different than one at Bestbuy? Because mounts at Bestbuy are ridiculously overpriced compared to some on eBay..

As long as it is compatible with your TV shouldn't be a problem.

Make sure you know the weight it can hold and the size of tv. That's all that should matter.

Yup, got my mount for my bedroom setup for $25 shipped on Ebay, and its holding my 50" Panny without problem.
