Is it as cool as I think it would be? Anything crazy to do?

A couple of friends went years ago and said it wasn't that great but I'm hoping things changed...

I've heard that Halloween in Maui is wicked fun. I've been wanting to go.

I was in Salem like 2 years ago for Halloween. Well, not there just for that but we were on a business trip through Mass, and swung through for dinner. It was REALLY chaotic, hordes of people everywhere but generally a good time.
