Default What's everyone picking up this week?

and where are you getting it from?

I can't decide between Army of Darkness and Grace.

I would pick up the Hannibal Anthology but i'm not really a fan of have more than one movie per case, but that's just me.

What about you guys?

It's an expensive week for me coming up.

* Wolverine
* X-Men Trilogy
* Van Helsing
* An American Werewolf in London

Ref: X-Men. I was planning on just getting Wolverine but then Amazon bundled the Trilogy set with Wolverine for $60 which, after doing some quick calculations and the fact I had none of the other X-Men movies on blu, made too much sense to ignore.

Ref: Van Helsing. This is a major guilty pleasure for me. It's hard not to like a movie that puts Kate Beckinsale in those costumes. I also am a bit of a classic monster movie junkie. Which brings me to-

Ref: An American Werewolf in London. Certainly my favorite of all the werewolf movies with some excellent dry humor and it's always good to see my old London and N. England stomping grounds on film.

Of course the financial impact is softened by points redeemed from my Amazon credit card (which I use as a debit card) into Amazon gift certificates.

Yep, together with the fact that I purchased a 64GB iPod Touch yesterday it's an expensive week.

"Obsessed", "Hannah Montanna", Season One of "Lie to Me" and Beatles "Hard Days Night" may show up later this week from Canada. Might pick up "Wolverine" but that was planned for next week.

Luckily, I'll save myself some money this week as I won't be getting any blus (though I'll be picking up Transformers G1 Season 2 Vol 1 and Thrice's new album Beggars). I am saving up for all the blus I'll be getting in late October and November.

I'll definitely be picking up Wolverine at some point, but I'm not sure if it will be this week or not. The above mentioned combination of Wolverine with the X-Men Trilogy is tempting for $60.99 from Amazon.

Well, this morning, I picked up my watch from the nightstand, and then I picked up my clothes from the floor...

Getting "Wolverine," one copy for myself and one for my dad for Christmas. I just finished the PS3 game, so I'm psyched to see the movie all over again.

This order also includes the BD for "Misery," 'cause it is fairly cheap.

And I got an order for the "Ultimate Force of Four" box set, including "Hero" and three other martial arts movies I haven't seen before.

And that's it. Most other things I've ordered come out next week.

I was able to pick up Grace at Best Buy earlier, so all that's left is American Werewolf and Army of Darkness. Maybe Child's Play.

I'm probably gonna have to cut back just to afford all that coming to blu-ray in October (Oprhan, Audition, Trick R Treat, Drag Me To Hell, Grinch Stole Christmas, Charlie Brown Christmas, The Children, Night of the Creeps, Stargate).
