Not only does it work in my house...
![]() I've had cell phones since the early days and none have worked in my house. I switched to Verizon almost a year ago and I can finally use my phone in my own home. It's a relief. I used to have to stand outside to try and get a bar with my Nextel. The main reason I'm posting this is I have a Blackberry Storm. They've been known to be well, crap and completely useless. Mine finally stopped working and I knew I was in trouble because I had no insurance on the phone. I was looking at shelling out $500 for a new one or going to a crappier phone. I walked in and they checked it out and gave me a brand new one...no questions asked. Gotta love them! Hopefully it will last me until I upgrade to the Storm 2 which is supposed to be a huge improvement. |

I'm sure they extended your contract, my dad did that with sprint about 4 years ago, broke his phone, went in and they gave him a new one with a steep discount, then his work offered him a better phone on their choice network. So when he canceled they said "sorry full amount, when we hooked you up with the phone you agreed to a new 2 year deal".
I stil kept my verizon phone because I had only been 6 months into my 2 year deal, when I told them they could hook me up with the EnV touch for 99.99 or I'd go buy an Iphone 3GS, and I was shocked and glad they did it. As for Bar coverage it really has to do with how that SP's tower/ satellite(s) work in your area. Verizon's good, I don't like they changed my unlimited txts to like 5,000 out of network ones ![]() Based on my area and what I've seen with friends/ service I have 1.Sprint/Verizon 2.ATT (after cingular deal) 3.T-moblie (yuck 3g at least where I live) |

I just recently switched from Tmobile to Verizon due to the discount I get at work - and because my reception with Tmobile was useless at work. Ive always had BlackBerrys, so I decided to try out the Storm. I really didnt like it. Couldnt hold a charge for 12 hours, keyboard sometimes locked, etc. Went back to the Curve and couldnt be happier.
Yes, kudos to VZW. |

Verizon is the best carrier hands down... ive had the major 3.. Sprint, than Cinular/ATT.. and now verizon... and I will never look back.. the calling plans might cost a bit more... but the wireless signal is second to none.. I just bought the new LG NV Touch and its a great phone... very responsive!...
Verizon>any other cell phone carrier |
