Default Your Fave Firefox Add-ons?

adblock is a must

the only other one thats come in very good use lately is called 'ffvb'. you can properly ignore users, threads, whatever you want. find it here

another one i find handy at time is called 'unlinker'. it turns any link of a picture and shows it, no need to click

what do you guys use? i feel like i'm missing some

I'm simple: I just prefer the weather one, and the "Convert to IE" one.

Download Them All (DTA) - will hit a site with multiple requests to utilize your full bandwidth and download a file quicker

Grease Monkey - very useful with Mob Wars scripting

Linkification for me, any links will be clickable instead of copy/paste into browser. Also, dictionary tooltip (double click on a word to view definition), and download status bar.

The two I always make sure to install are Flashblock and noscript.

The former requires you to activate flash and the latter stops all Javascript without permission. I don't really mind ads which are neither flash nor javasccript based, but interestingly enough these two have cut the number of ads I see down to like 1%.

Adblock, ColorfulTabs, Download Statusbar and IE Tab are a must for me. Well ColorfulTabs just makes the tabs different colors but it helps organize my tabs when I have many open.

Besides some of the ones mentioned, I have Google Bookmarks Button and WebMail Notifier.

BTW, if you have trouble installing FireFox at work, have it install to the My Documents folder. That is usually always open for user modification and the program will run fine.

Lovin' 3.5!

If you do this, be careful. We occasionally run scripts that tell us what people are using and are able to see when they jump to IE8 or Firefox. Depending on your company that can land you in trouble and may be a big no-no.

Just a word to the wise folks, don't EVER think ANYTHING on your work computer is any kind of private. It's all available.
