Default Matroska file not recognized

First off, hello to the forum. This is my first post and
a new site to me. Give me some time and I'll settle in.
Anyway, I have a sony bdp-s560 bluray player and it
has a USB connection in the front. So I 'downloaded'
a 1080p movie thats a Matroska file, I formatted my
flash drive in ntfs, I transfered the movie, than I plugged
the drive into the sony bluray and it's telling me the
drive is not recognizable. So I decided to try the drive
in the side of my new Samsung 55" LED 8000 series tv
which also has a usb slot. Well, it did recognize the drive,
so I clicked on the movie and it told me the that the audio
is not supported, but the video played flawlessly. Any ideas on what type of file I should be downloading in order for a 1080p movie to play on either one of these devices.

BTW, I have coming in the mail anyday now a western digital hd media player and an Onkyo TX-SR507 in which I plan on utilizing all hdmi cables for the bluray and the wd hd to the TV. I am guessing, the wd hd will be able to
handle the flash drive and the type of file, but just in
case it doesn't, does anyone here have any suggestions? Thanks!
