Australia Watchmen Director's Cut?

Does anyone know if Australia will be getting the directors cut version of watchmen or just the theatrical release.

After further research it looks like the Directors Cut will only be available in America, so all we will get is the theatrical cut special edition.

Well, I wont consider buying or renting untill the directors cut is released. Good way to screw the customer out of a product (and ther company out of money).

You would think Paramount being the better giving better Blu-ray releases then Warner Bros. they would atleast match what WB is offering?

their deal to distribute it outside of the US probobly didn't include the DC. So we might get it in the future if WB get distribution rights back for the rest of the world and releases it themselves.

Situations like these are just adverts for piracy! I would still prefer to import the DC because of the features (and I am eager to see this new commentary), but although it is unlikely, should it end up being region locked, its MKV all the way for me!
I WILL NOT BE BUYING A THEATRICAL-ONLY EDITION!!!

Warner brothers aren't usually region locked from memory, I hope this and Coraline aren't region locked.

Chances are the U.S. version will be region free. We should be finding out very soon when the reviews come.
