Region Free or Region A in Copenhagen-Oslo?

I m from India but presently on a trip to Denmark-Norway and Sweden...
I have a Sony BDP S 550 blu-ray player which plays Region A stuff...

I went to quiet a few shops in Copenhagen...namely the Gigaten and Bilka and Blockbuster stores but each one had DVD and Blu-rays of Region B or Region 2 as its called..

I was in Berlin last weekend and there as well in the huge electronic store Saturn i saw a huge set of blurays on sale but unfortunately all were Region B

Can anyone suggest me a shop in here (Copen or Oslo) where I can get Region A or Region Free stuff in both Blus and DVDs???

In Europe you'll always find DVD Code 2 - that's meant for Europe. There are certainly specialty stores carrying DVD/Blu-ray Imports but you'll pay really, really crazy prices.

Import that stuff from the US and you'll save a lot of money.

Of course there always are the Region-Free Studios like WB, Paramount, Universal...

Have you checked the back of the cases. Although they say Reg B, the cases could be marked as Reg A,B,C. All cannot be Reg B. There should be significant amount of blu--rays marked as Reg A, B and C.

I know buddy I did check every single blu backside after pickg up...n u wont believe almost every blu was Region B and the 5-6 ones which were not were the ones I already have in my collection

all the shop staffs here of the Gigaten..Blockbuster..planet video told me its diffct to find anythg except Region B

However there were a few that had no Region written behind at all...shud I consider them Reg Free?
