Default High pitched hum from Elite reciever

I seem to be getting a high pitched hum from my Elite VSX-03, i heard it when I had it muted, it even hums when the receiver is off? Any ideas?

Possibly a ground loop? Is it plugged in directly to the outlet, or just a surge protector? Or is it plugged in with a power filter?

Read Ground Hum & Ground Loop Isolators. It has a sticky in Home Theater General Discussion.

Thanks I'll read that article. Everything is connected to my APC H15 power conditioner, I don't actually remember hearing it before, almost like it just started doing it?

Have there been any equipment changes in your system lately? Either components replaced or physically moved? You may have done something inadvertently that introduced the ground loop issue.

Unfortunately, while not impossible to track down and solve, it can be difficult to identify the source and fix.

No equipment issues that I know of.
