Default Just noticed a change in music settings with new update

Im sorry if this has been discussed but im just looking for some clarification on this. I dont know if it was with 3.0 or not but ive noticed that now when i want to listen to music i cant get back to the XMB while the music is playing by hitting the PS button. this kinda pisses me off cause i like choosing my next song i want to listen to while the song is playing not having to wait till the song is over before i can.. anyone else annoyed by this?

i mentioned this a couples of weeks ago... from what i've found, they have made it so that the hi-fi option that was once reserved for cd's is no applied to mp3s (stored or streamed). You can go to your audio changes, and if you change it to the lower bitrate option, you can press the ps button as well as process the lossy track through your receivers matrixing. The new option sounds great though... only problem i've noticed is that it doesn't support WMA, and I have a bunch of WMA albums, so that sucks.

Yeah just change it back to 46k (?) if you want to go back to the XMB while music is playing.

does this make a big difference in sound? i'd like to be able to browse while listening, but not sacrifice audio quality

If you can't tell the difference, just set it back to the default.

More importantly that is how it sounded before so if it didn't bother you then just change it back. But the new setting is supposed to make it sound better than before. I can't give my opinion because I don't care enough about music to have even tried it out. =P
