Why Is This Film Not In Blu-Ray? - Blu-ray Forum

I would very much like to see Roman Polanski's 1979 "Tess" in Blu-ray. How come a movie that has won Oscar's best cinematography not be in blu-ray? For such beautifully filmed movie not being available in blu-ray is a crime IMO.

Given what just happened to Polanski, it could either mean studios could be releasing his stuff like crazy or not releasing jack at all.

Good point. I don't think his arrest will influence how the studios treat the releases of his movies. He was still able to get a Best Director award...if he can snag that while being a fugitive then anything is possible.

I believe you will most likely see a Region B release before any other.

Too bad I don't have a multi region blu ray player. Is there a multi region blu ray player out there?
