Default Different Netflix interface styles

When Netflix first came to the 360, you could only access titles that were already in your instant cue; you had to add to that instant cue from the PC. Then with a later update, they made it so that you could browse and watch most available titles from the 360 interface. I guess I just kind of assumed the latter type of interface was now available on all Netflix streaming devices, but something I recently read has lead me to believe that with some devices you still have to add to your cue from a PC.

Those of you who use Netflix streaming on devices/blu-ray players that are NOT the 360, PS3 or Roku..... are you able to browse the catalog from your device, or do you have to add to your cue from a PC? What device are you using?

i had until recently a samsung bd1600, this had netflix streaming, you could only watch moveis that were already in your cue, and you could only add to your cue from the PC, then i got a LG bd370, with netflix, same issue with the netflix, i returned that player as it didnt function right and replaced it with an insignia wsdvd blu ray player with netflix, and with this unit you can browse different catagories and add them to your cue from the player

I wonder if there is a comprehensive list with this information somewhere? There should be, because the ability to browse from the player is a HUGE plus over one that does not allow it.

I can not speak for any other players, but I do know the PS3 and the Xbox give you browsing capabilities in Netflix. The only thing about the movies on Netflix are that they are older movies and not the so recent movies. Anything that you would like to see new you have to still purchase the actual disc.

Plus its easier in my opinion to add the movies via computer compare to browsing the system itself. I get the reviews and other peoples opinion.

I wonder if all Netflix interfaces will be able to browse different genres in the future. It is sad that Insignia has this feature, but other major brands do not. Just bought the LG 370 for my parents, but want to make it as easy as possible to browse for movies, so hopefully they add this feature to a future firmware update.

From what I have been reading, they said it would come in a future update, but who know when that will be.
