Interface menu for the ps3 - Blu-ray Forum

The above link is for a video showing a sample of the ps3 menu so when you boot up the console, you'll see a menu that is very similar to the psp. Looking at the video, 1080p is in the list so it looks like the console is fully capable of the resolution even though very few tvs can support the resolution. You'll need either quicktime or windows media player to see the video. A broadband connection helps here. If the link doesn't come in, go to ps3.ign.com and from there you can get to the video. Make sure that you don't type in www.ps3.ign.com because the website will not come in. Don't ask me why.

Hmm, thanks for that. Very nice, I have a PSP so it's nothing new, but also welcome as I will be able to get stuck in immediately.

I'm sure you will be able to set a background, no reason why not, and as you can store your photos on it I guess you can just choose one of those, or maybe grab one from the online store.

Nice and clean, nice and simple.

Glad to help. In the video, it was mentioned that you would be able to change the background color. I think the point of the video was to show what the interface would look like and so you get a feel for how everything works. I like it myself. Everything is laid out, pretty straight forward. Very easy to navigate through and very user friendly.
