Why no IGN blu-ray reviews? - Blu-ray Forum

Why have there been so many hd dvd reviews by IGN and like no Blu-ray ones. For instance the recent blood diamond review they did in hd dvd instead of blu-ray, even though blu-ray's has been out longer and such. I havent seen any recent Blu-ray reviews on there either. Thoughts? Comments?

Oooooh... the stories I could tell you about Imagine Publishing and IGN and the PC Gamer crew.... But I won't, out of professional courtesy.

Bottom line: IGN is all sizzle and very little substance.

Well, I happen to like PC Gamer a lot especially when the alternative is ZDNet's "Games for Windows" formerly CGW that's completely sold out and become shills for Microsoft and they all but admit it and even joke about it in the magazine.

So I guess I'll take PC Gamer over the likes of that every time.

I rarely go to their DVD section, but I do remember getting hyped for BD from their reviews of Casino Royale and Rocky Balboa, so they do review them on occasion. They seem to rarely review either of the formats.

I was just on there the other day, and when you click on blu-ray in the dvd section, quite an extensive list of reviewed movies come up.
