Background
About a month ago I upgraded my subwoofer from an Onkyo 8 inch / 75 watt sub to Velodyne Minivee 10. - As a gift for my birthday, my girlfriend, told me that I could pick out another subwoofer, but she needed to know which to get. Problem The Minivee is an excellent subwoofer, but its not putting out enough bass. At the time it seemed like an amazing amount of bass, but I'm sure it had a lot to do with the drastic upgrade in size and power. Should I get another Minivee and see if that helps cure my bass crave or get a different set of subs? (SVS NSD12, HSU VTF-3 MK3 and AV123-MF15 are brands that I like) Room specs and other info - Living room size 18'X22' with 9' ceilings - Paradigm Monitor 7's, CC-290 and Speakercraft Aim 7's - 80% music / 20% movies |
