Canada Shipping Question for Fellow Canadians

Just wondering what type of shipping do you guys use for steelbooks?
I have one to ship to the states, and I've never shipped a steelbook before so just wondering what some of you guys have been using.

Thanks.

I purchase one of the boxes they sell at the Post Office. It's about the size of an 8 1/2*11 sheet of paper, and is about an inch thick. I stuff the inside of the box with crumpled flyers and make sure I put the steel in the middle. I've had great success with getting steels to their destination dent-free.

As for type of shipping, use US Expedited shipping at the Post office. Average is around $12 to ship, comes with $100 insurance and a tracking #. Not much more you can do than that. I've had success with this method.

That is great info, as I have someone that will be sending me a steelbook as well. I was wondering what the shipping cost was going to be.

Also, not trying to hijack, has anyone had issues with shipping from Futureshop? My contact is concerned about the steel coming from FS to his house. Wasn't sure if they use a box or bubble envelope.

Thanks

I've had both. I remember the Watchmen came in a cardboard envelope, but The Dark Knight came in a bubble envelope. It's really hit-and-miss with them.

In the past I've used bubble mailers... I had great success until Watchmen.

For the future I'll give my buyers both the bubble mailer option (about $5) or in a small box (about $12).
