This was a surprisingly good horror movie with an interesting story and twist. Unfortunately, the picture from Taiwan distributor BitWel, is once again a DVD upconvert. Sound from PCM 5.1 track is pretty good (surround and front channels are different). Recommended if you don't already own the DVD.

This stars Kim Ok-Bin of Thirst as the lead girl. I watched it when it came out on (region 3) DVD but I didn't think it was anything special (although Kim was easy on the eyes). The movie didn't quite live up to the posters/cover.

In spite of a confusing end, I thought "Voice" was one of the stronger films of the series. The most recent one, "Blood Pledge" (or "Suicide Pact"), though, was almost unwatchably bad.

Hey! I finally came up with a reason to buy one of these silly upconverted blu-rays... if you're American, you can avoid the horrendous (and inappropriate to the film) artwork that's on the U.S. DVD.

watched this last night, the PQ is really dissapointing
story wise is quiet good though, not as good as #2 but one of the better one

Yeah, I haven't seen this. I have seen Whispering Corridor on TV a few years back with my OnDemand service that I had. I thought it was a pretty good Korean horror film. I do my DVD buying for foreign films from Thailand. And I had saw Memento Mori for sale and I had no clue it was a sequel. How do all the sequels compare to the first film?

From best to worst IMO

Memento Mori (Whispering Corridors 2)
Whispering Corridors
Voice (Whispering Corridors 4)
Wishing Stairs (Whispering Corridors 3)
A Blood Pledge (Whispering Corridors 5)

They don't have anything to do with each other than the basic premise of horror story happening within an all girl's high school.
