What are some fun shooter games that are not halo or cod?? - Blu-ray Forum

So tired of all the war games, and I just suck ass at halo, nor do I play online cuz that's even worse.. So what are some fun ones? Dead space, left for dead, fallout 3 , gears of war etc etc?

Gears, Modern War, Call of Duty games, Duck Hunter (I am not joking about this one. Not sure if there is a new game for this since attari or whatever console it was on.)

For me, I'd pick Half-Life 2 and BioShock.

Somehow I missed that. Bioshock I agree with. Not sure about half-life 2 though.

the problem seems to be yu play UNREALISTIC SHOOTERS

get operation flashpoint.....a nice tatical sim shooter
rainbow six vegas (1 or 2) is good too

you need to get away from the kiddie 'run & gun' games

One of my favourite FPS is F.E.A.R, both 1 & 2. They got a creepy atmosphere, great graphics and the game is just a ton of fun especially when you have a shotgun and go into Slo-Mo

Left 4 Dead is also awesome but it is a lot more fun playing with some buds instead of solo, Resident Evil 4 / 5 are both good action / horror shooters and as mentioned before, Gears of War is a fantastic series and shouldn't be missed.
