Default List of Blu-ray exclusive studios

I'm curious as to which video entertainment studios are making movies exclusively for Blu-Ray? And if you know, which studios are backing HD-DVD exclusively? I also heard that Bluckbuster is only renting Blu-Ray movies (at least at their stores). Is that true?

I already have a PS3 but I'd like to know which has more support.

Thanks in advance!

As of right now, the only major studio not backing Blu-Ray is Universal. So basically Blu-Ray has (out of the major studios) Sony (Columbia, Tri Star, Sony Pictures Classics), Buena Vista (including Hollywood Pictures, Touchstone Pictures, Walt Disney Pictures, I believe some Dimension), Warner Brothers, Paramount Pictures, and Lionsgate. HD-DVD has WB, Paramount, and Universal. They also have the Weinstien Company, but that's not a big loss for Blu-Ray. Starting this fall, New Line will be supporting both formats. And yes, Blockbuster is only supporting Blu-Ray in their stores.

Sweet thanks!

Warner Bros. is HD DVD exclusive? Awe that's too bad. They're really big.

I just checked WB's website and it says they support both...plus 300 is made by them and I'm sure that's coming out on Blu-Ray.

No. Warner releases on both, although there's several good titles they've only realeased on HD-DVD. Hopefully they'll put them out on blu-ray soon, though.

Oh ok. Thanks for clearing that up! It seems that Blu-Ray has quite a bit of backing.

WB just hasn't figured out how to port over the interactive features from HD-DVD to Blu-Ray yet. At least that's my thoughts...
