Unhappy Made a dumb mistake on my Momitsu Blu-ray 799 player

Hi-

I recently bought a Momitsu BDP-799 player and, well, I made a grievous error. On the "settings" menu, for reasons that,in retrospect, seem very stupid, I changed the "HDMI AUTO" option to the "1080i" option. Immediately, I lost the "settings" screen, which was replaced by blackness with the following message in the middle of thescreen: "Mode Not Supported". No matter what I did, no matter what buttons I pushed on the remote control, I couldn't escape that black screen. I attempted to remedy the situation by unplugging the player for 5 minutes, then plugging it back in again in the hopes that the machine would reset itself to its original settings, but no such luck. Right now, I can't play any discs at all. All I can do is to open and close the tray.
Under these circumstances, is there somebody who can explain to me how to reset the player to its factory settings and change the "1080i" option back to the "HDMI AUTO" option? Any help that anybody could give me in this regard would be most welcome. Thank you.

Ira S.
