Yeah sorry that won't work on a accelerator but everything else is great specs for 500 I'm sure since it was a bigger laptop 6.3 pounds you usually get better hardware in those.

Glad you got what you wanted enjoy!

see for yourself lol Lower settings will help but Crysis is like the top top game in terms of graphics.

Still, the performance is just on par with the entry level dedicated graphics cards and therefore not suited for demanding games. Some older games like Fear can be played in low details and low resolutions (see "Gaming Performance" below).

Compared to other modern integrated graphic cards like the Nvidia GeForce 9400M (G 102MNVIDIA GeForce G 105M) or AMD ATI Radeon HD 3200, the GMA 4500M HD noticably slower and provides less optimized drivers for games.

The version in the GS45 can be clocked lower (320 versus 533 MHz) and support only FSB 800 (instead of FSB 533/1066). Furthermore, switchable graphics are only supported in the GM45 chipset. The GE45 has the same features as the GM45, and aditionally is certified by Macrovision.

But to be fair it was never intended to do gaming.

You actually probably could play a doom 3 on medium/ low and have a good time so pre 2005 games you should be smoking fear was late 05

Just enjoy it lol, you got good hardware (not graphics wise ) and I'd have bought it if I needed a computer.

Anything big time would cost 2k+ and most people don't like to spend that since its really a worse investment then a car(I'd know)

Got a good comp, lotta blu's and some extra left over. Win Win

The performance of the GTX 260M is somewhat higher than with the 9800M GTX due to the higher clock speed. For current DirectX 10 games like Crysis, World in Conflict, Bioshock or Age of Conan, the performance of this graphic card is sufficient with medium and high details.
you'd have gotten home installed crysis and been like WTF only medium settings!?! Thats why I was saying enjoy this because really to get laptop top notch speeds for gaming you've gotta break the bank.

Ill be just fine with my accelerator4500 and my ps3

i HATE when i have all these movies in my head from reading here on the forum, then cant think of a damn one you guys all reccommend for great audio or video... I thought watchman was good , but i wasnt gonna pay $35 for it .. so i got the 2 newer ones, and the other 3 were only 10 bucks.. More of a collection builder than anything

Any suggestions? i only have about 30 BRs?? I know theres threads out there but i can never find them either

I've almost stopped buying movies when they come out because they drop within 2-5 weeks on amazon so I'm really paying for nothing. Especially since I have about 60+ that are still wrapped up.

I know I was impressed with Transformers 2,

A GREAT PQ/AQ set is the Pirates of the Caribbean.

The matrix set is outstanding.

Air Force One is a great improvement, Starship troopers 1 was a huge improvement, the spidey set, Black Hawk down has a great PCM track and awesome PQ, Underworlds are good. Godfather set is TOP NOTCH.

Casino Royal is very good.

Generation Kill series is very good in both, same with Band of Brothers thats reference.

The Austin Powers set was a big improvement.

(most of those I'd watch at bestbuy don't over pay for them especially since they can be had for so cheap on amazon)
