WBShop cancels all orders of Gone With The Wind (then changes it's mind...) - Blu-ray Forum

WBShop is so much fun to deal with...

I had an order (mostly pre-orders) with the multiple stacking coupons as follows:

-Lord of the Rings ($69.95-$17.49)
-Gone With The Wind ($64.95-$16.24)
-Sarah Connors Season 2 (Free)
-Sarah Connors Season 1 ($32.95-$8.24)
-300 Digibook ($32.95-$8.24)
-Wild Pacific (Free)

So, Sarah Connow Season 1 was shipped to me months ago, but they are now waiting for the rest to be released).

Got an e-mail a few days ago that GWTW was canceled (huge surprize, but looks like several people got the same e-mail).

Got an e-mail stating that LOTR was canceled (no surprize, we all know that got postponed indefinately)

So, I promptly ordered GWTW via Amazon.

I call Saturday and was told that the rest of my order was available and would ship Monday.

I just checked my cc and no charges were made. So I called them (and thought it would be a good idea to check what they were planning on charging me for Sarah Connor S2 since it was the free item in the B2G1 sales they were having.

Well, they re-ordered Gone With The Wind for me and placed it back on my account. They did not bother e-mailing me that information!!!

So, SCS2 is still free. LOTR is still canceled. GWTW is now incoming twice (I think), but with no official notification that they changed their minds about accidentally canceling part of my order.

Bottom line, if your ordered GWTW, you may want to check your order status...

That is good information. WB's site has done some crazy things in the past. It would really stink if their charging an order after canceling it results in an overdraft for somebody.

My account still shows GWTW as cancelled, with no reorder. But then the credit card I used before is also cancelled, so I'm safe. (If they ship GWTW anyway, I'll just refuse it; Amazon was cheaper.)

I received the same cancellations but after reading your post I went into my account and see they created a new order dated 10-31 but don't say what it is for and they never notified me of such.

I'd also like to know how come when I created a thread a few days ago about this very same subject, my thread got yanked and shipped off to blu-ray.com's version of Siberia:
