Default Question about PS3 Online Gaming

Just curious, the only online capable PS3 game I have so far is Marvel : Ultimate Alliance. I'm curious after reading some Resistance threads. Is the only way to play online with someone is to have them in your friends list or is it that nobody plays Marvel online? Never seen anyone on there. :P

Ah ok, that's kinda sad then. Guess until other people I know begin buying PS3's I'm kinda out of luck. Maybe after I pick up RFOM and R6Vegas I'll have a bit more online fun. Gonna wait and get the gamepad thing that acts like a pc mouse. I can't play FPS well without one.

RB6V is a great online game, though by the time you pick it up you'll be on a sharp learning curve since others have had it since day one. Please have a USB headset or Blu-tooth mic when you play online, FYI. You might as well not bother picking up RFoM, unless you get it real cheap. It takes some time to get use to the controls, but you'll get the hang of it (FPS) without using a mouse/keyboard.

You're right. I often go online with Marvel Ultimate Alliance and there never seems to be anybody online. Kinda lame . I just started playing Champions return to arms again and online for the first time and I'm having a blast. Interesting to see there are still a lot of people playing this game online .

Well I play games for Single Player too, RFOM looked like fun for that. I've played FPS on consoles before, I just have a hard time aiming with a controller, the mouse is way easier. (Especially since I like precision shooting. It's hard to snipe without a mouse, not impossible, but hard.)
