Default Blu-ray player stretching problem. . . help!

I have the Sharp bdhp22u blu ray player, and so far everything is awesome on it, but one thing, when watching king of queens on dvd, the playback of it is always in 4:3 Mode, I cant get it to stretch out on the tv, Now when your in the King of Queens dvd menu, its full screen, but as soon as the show starts it goes into 4:3 mode. I have my player set to output 16:9 and the tv is in wide mode, I even change the modes and it stays the same. When I play Blu-rays its full screen,

Can someone please help?

King of Queens was filmed in standard definition which = 4:3
Movies are filmed in their respective aspect ratios..

It is being displayed correctly.

Because its stretching the image out. I'm sure Kevin James is fatter than normal on the 65" tv.

Correction, they're widescreen. Full screen is what you are seeing when you watch King of Queens. Don't worry. When you start watching the later seasons, they will be in widescreen and fill your display.

Oh, and you need to fix your 65" TV so that it doesn't stretch 4:3 content. Try switching the display to Normal or Full. Something along those lines instead of Stretch.

Okay i thought you would want to stretch it out but once again im WRONG! I suck at this whole Home Theater Entertainment Gig! I should just stick with going to the movie theatre.
