Okay so I currently have a Netflix membership (but it is on hold til Jan. 1). When I go back with them I am thinking of adding blu, but am wondering how much it will be. Does it matter if you do 1,2 or 3 DVDs at a time? And I can still get SD DVDs right (need them at least for my UFC stuff).
I had been using my SD TV and DVD player to check movies if I wanted to buy them on BD but my goodness the more blu I watch the harder time I have watching Standard!! |

I believe to have one dvd out at time with unlimited rentals per month its 8.99 and 10.99 for blu-ray
2 out at time unlimited per month 10.99 for dvd 13.99 for blu-ray 3 out at time unlimited per month 16.99 for dvd 20.99 for blu-ray When you sign up to have blu-ray as your default rental preference you can still rent regular dvds, its just when you choose a movie available in both formats your account will default to the blu-ray unless you choose otherwise, but you can still pick regular dvds. I think if you choose to have dvds as your default rental preference, in order to rent blu-rays, I believe you have to change your account plan to do that. |

Actually...
$13.99 per month for 2 DVDs out at a time with an optional $3 Blu-ray access fee. Total is $16.99 for DVDs and BDs. No limit on rentals and unlimited Netflix Instant streaming. You can still get DVDs and all accounts start out as DVD only by default. To allow for Blu-ray access follow this path: Your Account & Help > Manage Blu-ray access There is a limited account option as well that offers 1 DVD a month for $4.99 with an optional $1 Blu-ray access fee. Total is $5.99 for DVDs and BDs. There is a limit of 2 DVDs and/or BDs sent per month along with a limit of 2 hours for Netflix Instant streaming. |

I was on three at a time unlimited. I am currently at one at a time unlimited. With the Blu-ray option I pay $11.87/month. I am able to watch two movies/week on this plan which is really all I have time for.
Honestly, I'm not sure why I even pay for the Blu-ray option. I never have more than a couple in my queue at any given time. |
