Man on Fire Blu-ray Help!!!!

so i went to play my man on fire blu tonight and the sound is main sound is not working at all, at first i thought it was the receiver itself, but i tried about 4 different blus and they all worked fine, however my man on fire wont play sound from the center speaker at all.. i really dont know what to do... is the sound broken on the disc? is that possible? i really need help with this, any suggestions??

It's doubtful that the the disc is defective. However, that is not beyond the realm of possibility. It is rather interesting that only the center channel is not working - if there was a disc problem, likely all the audio would be exhibiting problems. Have you ever played it successfully on your player before? You could take the disc to a friend who has a multichannel home theater (obviously, with a BD player) and test it there, or even test it at a local store if you can.

As always, the classic advice here is that perhaps you need to update the firmware on your Blu-ray player.

It would definitely help to post what specific model number of player and receiver/processor you have, and also to let us know how your system processes BD audio. Do you decode the audio in the player or receiver/processor? HDMI connection for audio or multichannel analog? Did this problem happen after a recent firmware update?

There may be some additional suggestions by those familiar with your particular player if you provide this additional information.

yea it worked before, ive had it for sometime and watched it atleast 3 times.. this is so weird and has never happened before

Try it on another sound system to confirm if it is the soundsystem or the disk.
