Default Logitech Class Action Lawsuit

I received an e-mail from Logitech concerning a class action settlement regarding their Harmony 1000. I owned a 1000 but when I called Logitech about the problems I had with it, they exchanged my 1000 for the 1100. The 1100 is far, far superior to the 1000 and well worth the call.

United States District Court for the Northern District of California

If you are an individual who – while residing in the United States between January 21, 2007 and October 15, 2009 – owned a Harmony® 1000 Advanced Universal Remote (“H1000”) which was marketed, distributed, and sold by Logitech, Inc. (“Logitech”) in the United States you may be eligible to receive a product replacement from Logitech pursuant to a class action settlement.

The volume control would stick on my 1000 and would run the receiver to full blast which made the cats run, the neighbors mad along with my startled wife. If you do a research you will find there have been many 1000 owners with the same problem.

Logitech exchanged it for the 1100 and what a remote. The 1100 is what the 1000 should have been.

What the class action is in reference to is false advertising about the 1000 having Z-Wave functionality which it didn't.

Just got off the phone with the class action hotline at logitech...So apparently, You send them a receipt and in March 2010 they send you the 890 model.
