Default cleaning blu ray discs

i was just wondering what is the best way to clean blu ray discs , and also lord forbid if they get scratched.

If they are handled correctly they should not have to be cleaned.

BD's take a decent amount of abuse. If you haven't done so already pick up a microfiber cloth and just clean them the same you would as DVD s.

I'd be careful picking up any MF towel. The cheap ones will scratch even though BD's are more durable than DVD's.

But if you handle your disc the right way, you should never have to clean them.

Wow I had no idea. I guess if someone picked one up at a discount store they should know better. I was curious if you have ever scratched any of your blurays. I have yet to have one with a scratch on it and I have a four year old that likes to play with them too.

No scratches... just don't put the data side of the disc on the floor or your counter. That will scratch it.

I've always just rubbed DVDs and now blu-rays on my T-shirt, assuming of course it's clean and there's no graphic or anything on it. I've yet to scratch a disc doing this.

i move mine around like i'm holding a pre-me i even flip the case upside down when im taking it out so it doesnt rub around the ring lol

I use the same thing as my glasses, dish soap (cuts grease) and hot watter, then whipe them dry
