Funny People will not Play on a Panasonic BD-35 - Blu-ray Forum

I just bought Funny People and it refuses to play on my player. I have the latest 2.0 Firmware. I tried with and without a 2GB SD Card. With Crank 2, I needed the 2GB SD card in the player for it to even play the movie. I figured this was similar. Its not.

It just acts like its going to play, brings up the menus, then I hit play, it goes thru the Federal Warnings then just hangs the player at a black screen.

I've tried draining the flea power on the player, no difference.

Is there anything I'm missing? This was a $300 player, not a $98 walmart special......I have a feeling its a setting somewhere but not sure.

Same player, mine kept getting hung up on the rating screen before the movie.
I was at FW 1.8 so upgraded to 2.0...took a long time to load and eventually just played.

I think your problem is the disc...Universal has a bad history of pressing discs that don't play.

I had the same problem on my DMP-BD60 I turned off the BD-Live and it worked fine.
