Unhappy Now, we're remaking films from 2 years ago!

I am talking about Death at a Funeral a new film starring Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence, Tracy Morgan and Danny Glover. it slated for release next year.

Here's the trailer for it

Now I hear you saying "I haven't heard of a film called 'Death at a Funeral'", well it was directed by Frank Oz (bowfinger) and I think wasn't recognised because it was British, and it didn't even do terrible at the box office.

Here's the trailer for the original

Now here's the problem you watch the two, and they are exactly the same, even the Dwarf is the same, which begs the question, why remake it? sure you may make some money, but this won't do gangbusters.

It just doesn't make senses, why get some money hire some actors a do the same movie, just have Black culture in it.

The original film wasn't that great either, quite funny, but I wouldn't run out and praise it.

Just...Why?
