Miley Cyrus Slams the Twilight Saga

Jealous much, Miley Cyrus?

Interview by a Cleveland radio station prior to a concert on Sunday night, Cyrus was asked about the Twilight Saga.

She could have simply said she's never read the books or seen a movie in the franchise. Instead, the singer chose to thumb her nose at the series:

"I've never seen [Twilight], nor will I. I don't believe in it. I don't like vampires, I don't like the wolf that pops out of the screen when I'm watching TV at night, I don't want anything to do with it. I don't like the shirts, I don't like any of it."

Jeez, Miles. You don't believe in Twilight?!? We're sorry to report: it exists.

Moreover, that wolf has a name: Taylor Lautner. And, finally, don't worry: no one asking you to have anything to do with it. It was just a question.

I have a feeling therein lies the problem.

I am gaining some actual respect for that girl

First she gave a quote saying she does not like pop music, she doesn't listen to it, she doesn't write it, she just sings whatever "crap" they give her....

and now this. Maybe her hate for everything "ditzy teen girls" might rub off on some fans and make this world a better place.

If I was Miley Cyrus, I wouldn't be worried. She still probably earns more in a day than any of the Twilight people would make. And if she just wants attention, she can start Twittering again.

Jellybeans...completely off topic, but I have a fun story for you...apparently I stood in front of Lindsay Lohan in line at Best Buy and didn't even know it (also walked directly by her 5 or so times in the store and didn't know it)...my friend told me after we left

Miley is to music what Stephanie Meyer is to books. That is to say, Miley has no musical education, and Meyer has no literary education. They are both where they are due to 20% talent and 80% DFL.

Dude when I was at the Arclight one night for a movie in the Dome Cameron Diaz and JT were there, they were still dating at the time, and JT was really cool in person.
